About Showhardo Alliance
Showhardo Alliance stands as a vibrant coalition of organizations committed to tackling gender-based violence (GBV) and discrimination, with a specific emphasis on empowering the Youth, Women, Girls, SOGIESC, and indigenous communities within Bangladesh. Our concerted efforts are geared towards advancing the Establishment of SOGIESC Rights and Human Rights, ensuring equal access to Education and Health for SOGIESC individuals, promoting Economic Equity, fostering Gender equity, preventing Gender-Based Violence, safeguarding Indigenous Culture, eliminating Unemployment, and creating robust Employment Opportunities.
At the core of our mission are initiatives focused on Capacity building, Knowledge Generation, Policy development, and Advocacy. We strive to make significant contributions in the realms of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and HIV Prevention. The inception of the alliance dates back to June 20, 2021. Notably, this collaborative effort unites five distinct community organizations, all originating from marginalized backgrounds, creating a formidable force for positive change.
